Thebig day has arrived we are allowed to hand the final copy of an assignment in for this yaer, I hope that this will give a positive result

Last Entry Maybe

Well tonight I have reach a landmark in regards to my project I have completed the assignment and only need to copy the result into the cd-rom and then post it to the office responsible. It was a quite intensive task that gave me difficult days but now that doesn't seem so bad now.

The nearer the better

I'm running into difficulties with the design there need to be an exact copy, but there seems to be many copies and this is confusing the issue will set aside some time to sort this tomorrow.

Only a matter of time

Time is drawing ever nearer to that moment when it cannot change the ending, not so bad now had to work hard for what I've got but no complains did a good job I think pass is fine. Next week is the last of this term it will also be the last but one posting.

Just a minute

Just completed the last or the next to last entry in my web page assignment I will use the time left to modify it at home there is not a lot more I can do considering the lack of knowledge in that subject. Never the less I have completed some part of the testing.

The job gets easier

The day has been a better example of good work completed. The code structure is coming together and there is content building up in the PHP portfolio. I need to concentrate on what is required now!

Saturday night

The assignment is not yet finished and time is running out, I have completed several parts but must focus on the remaining issues to be completed.

Time is getting short

There is a need for urgency in the coding of my webpage structure. I do not seem to get the ftp transfer correct the data always seems to be corrupt. Will study this more before uploading a new file, maybe I should remove all the previous files first.

Always a chance

There seems to be a certain feeling about the web page coming together it is solely on the fact that I can understand the file transfer protocol a little bit better. I have made significant gains in this area today, let's hope it can continue, purely by chance and some pointing in the right direction by those in the know.

Better Date

Today i learned something new, how to use the w3c site to validate php files. It was an eye opener. many thanks to those who spent time to demonstrate this to me. I need to work at the university throughout the week this will help.

Getting near

With the daedline date approaching there seems to be more work to do, everything about deadlines gets closer and closer. Need to look at the contact form and produce one for my website. There is restrictive access regarding the code structure and a need to validate the content.

Work and no play

Today we are concentrating on getting the number of web pages correct there has to be a minimum of five, there can be more. I am still not completely sure what is required at the dynamic web page site. I will link to this blog site and to my facebook site. Then go from there

Assignments

One assignment down and two to go, there is no time left to consider regression, I ran into difficulty deciding what was required of the assignment. Emailed my tutor, quick response, still not 100% convinced what I need. Will work at it.

Javascript Code

It is fascinating, the ability to produce code in notepad and see the effects in all its splendour, produced on the web. Today we are studying the concept of data entry using forms. I have collected and produced a working example although it does not go anywhere it should be useful for reference.

Web Design

Need to understand the structure of CSS, it is imperative that one can follow the logic in processing a web page and its design. Today we are studying the style sheet page setup from W3C CSS Page http://www.w3.org/Style/, there is so much information from one site it will take time to weed out the necessary requirements.

Validate Web Code

The validation of (X)HTML code is the same as continuing to provide standards throughout the industry, consistency of web pages in different browsers and layout need to be the same for all users. There is the added attraction of being able to format the template and test its CSS file for validation with the recognised authority, helps to improve consistency and layout.

First year, Masters course in Database Systems
